Overview
The incumbent is responsible for acquiring parts, materials, equipment, and services necessary to support aeronautical maintenance operations, while ensuring cost efficiency, on-time delivery, and compliance with regulatory and internal company standards. The incumbent collaborates with multiple teams, manages supplier relationships, and pays close attention to documentation and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Purchase parts, materials, equipment, and services from established suppliers, or research potential new vendors;
- Support the team in evaluating supplier selection;
- Initiate the approval process for new suppliers when required;
- Create/adjust purchase orders;
- Select the appropriate supplier to ensure timely delivery and/or lower cost;
- Maintain records of purchase orders and certifications;
- Archive invoices for accounting;
