Business Development Manager

Role Responsibilities Overview:

Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, Africa, the Business Development Manager will accelerate growth across our South Africa Inland region and broader African markets.

Business Growth & Sales

• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across the region
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent revenue growth
• Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract agreements

Account Management

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for key customers
• Grow existing accounts through cross‑sell and upsell opportunities
• Deliver regular business reviews and performance updates
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across pharma and biotech organisations
