Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager: Exports – Chemical Products to drive growth across Sub-Saharan Africa (excluding South Africa). The role focuses on developing new export markets, managing key customer relationships, and delivering sales and margin targets across multiple African countries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales volume, revenue, and margin targets
- Identify and develop new export markets and customers
- Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals
- Build and maintain strong customer and distributor relationships
- Conduct regular customer visits and quarterly business reviews
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
