WHAT'S THE JOB?

Reporting directly to the Property Manager, the Building Operator maintains mechanical and electrical equipment such as heat pumps, boilers, air handlers, and fire system.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitors operation, adjusts, and maintains mechanical equipment such as heat pumps, boilers, air handlers and pumps that provide chilled water, hot water and air conditioning to the property
• General maintenance such as minor plumbing, light replacement, ballasts etc.
• Performs preventative and regular maintenance as outlined by maintenance
• Oversees 3rd party contractors for the safe and compliant operation, maintenance both corrective and preventive.
• Regulation of equipment
• Works with the Quality Management system
• Participate in educational programs and in-service trainings.
• Attends meetings as required
