Building Engineer II

OVERALL PURPOSE OF POSITION
This position maintains and operates large and small-scale HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, boiler systems, control systems, and support equipment.
This position also responds to tenant service requests, diagnoses and repairs building mechanical, and electrical systems and works on special projects assigned by the Chief Engineer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs preventative maintenance on equipment such as filter changes, lubrication, inspection, and adjustment of belts and pulleys, cleaning of boiler and condenser tubes, cooling tower maintenance, ballast replacement, and bearing replacement
