Building Engineer

LHH is seeking a Building Engineer for a commercial office environment in the Charlotte area. This role will support the hands-on maintenance and operation of building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable property operations. This is a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities:

Electrical Systems

• Working knowledge of A.C. circuits and electrical safety procedures
• Ability to reset breakers and troubleshoot minor electrical issues
• Experience with outlets, switches, lighting ballasts, and circuit breakers

HVAC Systems

• Understanding of the basic refrigeration cycle
• Experience with DDC devices commonly found in commercial office buildings
• Exposure to pneumatic systems is a plus
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on AHUs
• Respond to HVAC calls and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
