Building & Code Compliance Inspector

ECS is seeking a Code Compliance Project Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic Building Science & Infrastructure team in Charlottesville, VA. In this role, you'll lead a wide range of inspection and plan review projects while ensuring alignment with state and local building codes. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems, along with strong project management capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform third party building, electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire safety building inspections

• Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports in accordance with ECS Policy

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
