**Summary**

Under direct supervision the **Building and Grounds Attendent** keeps a prescribed area in a clean and orderly condition, performing any combination of duties involved in cleaning the premises.

**Responsibilities**

+ Clean washrooms, furniture and other building cleaning
+ Move office furniture, equipment and supplies when called upon
+ Performs duties in the maintenance of project grounds
+ Keep public area sidewalks clear of debris and snow
+ Dispose of trash and other waste materials
+ Mow lawns using hand or power mowers
+ Spread fertilizer, trim hedges and shrubbery, prune trees, maintain ditches and road embankments
+ Perform general cleanup work along roads and parking area
+ Perform all types of common labor
