Broiler Stockperson – Market Drayton, Shropshire - £12.00-£14.00 ph - 40 hours a week/ 6 days a week rota
The Job:
We’re looking for a reliable and hard working Broiler Stockperson to join our award winning poultry team on a well run, modern site just outside Market Drayton. This is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in stockmanship and understands what good bird welfare looks like day in, day out.
You’ll be working across an 8 shed, 380,000 bird broiler unit, supporting the day to day management of the flock.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily bird checks and maintaining high welfare standards
- Monitoring feed, water, ventilation and environment
- Identifying and acting on any health or performance issues
- General shed work including litter management and cleaning
- Assisting with turnaround and preparation between crops
