**Overview**
GovCIO is hiring an experienced Branding/Marketing subject matter expert to refresh the brand identity, differentiate a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Data Modernization initiative from competitors, as well as ensure unified messaging. This position is fully remote, located in the United States.
**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as a key member of the Data Modernization team with primary responsibilities that include executive communications as well as support for internal communications.
+ Provide strategic thinking, outstanding organization and planning, and a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
+ Monitor trends and best practices in internal communications to improve strategies.
