ROLE: FOX 5 San Diego/KUSI News duopoly is seeking a dynamic, enterprising Border Reporter based in San Diego to produce compelling, daily stories focusing on issues impacting San Diego’s Southern border with Mexico. This role is responsible for delivering relevant, high-impact stories tailored to San Diego audiences. A successful candidate is digitally savvy, excels in storytelling that connects with audiences on broadcast, streaming, website and social. This position requires the multimedia journalist to shoot, write, edit vosots and packages. It also requires the ability to produce, host, and pilot original streaming shows for our CTV app.RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Produce daily, original San Diego-focused content for multiplatform viewing

+ Develop and deliver stories on border-related topics beyond headlines and politics, focusing on context, impact, and solutions for local community
