Bookkeeper - Payroll

Our client is a well-established Australian-owned business with a strong reputation, national presence and genuinely supportive culture. They're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their close-knit finance team in a varied role that offers autonomy, stability and the opportunity to make a real impact. This role offers the opportunity to take on additional accounting functions in time, so you need to bring with you the experience or suitable qualifications!

The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll for approximately 360 employees while supporting the broader finance function.

Payroll

• End-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing
• Interpret Awards, EBAs and payroll legislation
• Process superannuation, payroll tax, STP, PAYG and month/year-end activities
• Maintain payroll records, resolve employee queries and ensure ongoing compliance
