Robert Half is partnering with a well-established organization just outside of Cedar Rapids to hire a detail-oriented Bookkeeper for a contract opportunity. This role will focus primarily on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:

+ Process high-volume accounts payable transactions, including invoice entry, coding, and approvals

+ Perform 3-way matching and ensure proper documentation for all payments

+ Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments

+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

+ Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation

+ Assist with basic accounts receivable tasks, including posting payments and light collections follow-up
