Bookkeeper / Accountant

A medium-sized Auditing & Accounting firm based in Pretoria East (Lynnwood area) requires an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant. If you want to work in a friendly environment, have the necessary experience, and can effortlessly deal with SARS queries, we would like you to apply!

Duties & Responsibilities

DUTIES

• Accounting up to Trial balance (preferably XERO or Sage one accounting)
• VAT201’s and VAT reconciliations
• Payroll up to reconciliation – EMP201 and EMP501’s (Simplepay)
• SARS related tasks including:
• VAT and other registrations
• PAYE and UIF registrations
• Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions
• Disputes handling
• NOO (Notice of objections)
• NOA (Notice of appeals)
• RFR (Request for remissions)
• SARS meetings (teams or in person) to settle disputes and submit documentation for registrat...
