Bonding Operator

Position Requirements:


Perform duties to changeover and operate automatic bonding equipment to produce a variety of friction plates .


Work from prints, die installation procedures, process control plan, packing procedures, inspection procedure.

+ Change over automatic bonding machine, check dies for wear and position, and bolt dies in place

+ Adjust drop gauge on machine in order to check plates for proper thickness and flatness

+ Check and set machine for proper pressure, temperature and hold time, and adjust feed arms as necessary

+ Call up and check program for required machine process flow and check hydraulic system for leaks

+ Operate machines, load paper facings and friction plates on machine spindles, check first run sample parts for defects, proper thickness, bonding and paper alignment on plate.

+ Monitor machine for proper operation, check and maintain machines oil levels, and make adjustment...
