Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Bonding Mill Helper assists a Bonding Mill Operator in meeting the department’s goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.


Responsibilities
+ Responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coals to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width of the material with measuring devices.
+ Assist with the set-up of a designated Bonding Mill following process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication.
+ Assist with machine adjustments and set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
+ Assist with the examining, inspecting, and measuring of raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
