Blood Bank Nurse

• Perform donor screening, venipuncture, and blood collection procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Assist in processing, labeling, and storing blood products.
• Educate donors on post-donation care and blood donation benefits.
• Support transfusion services and coordinate with physicians and laboratory staff.
• Maintain accurate donor and blood bank records.
• Working with the blood collection team(s) to supervise operations of Whole Blood and Apheresis collection programmes
  • Whole Blood: Collection of blood in its complete form, not separated into its various components.
