Biomedical Engineer/Technician

• Ensure all hospital medical equipment complies with Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) standards, MDA 2012 guidelines, and private hospital licensing requirements.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns across clinical areas (OT, ICU, Wards) to ensure minimal downtime of medical devices.
• Perform and monitor routine Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), calibration, and Electrical Safety Testing (EST) to keep devices functioning safely
• Manage the asset inventory system for all biomedical equipment; oversee the Testing & Commissioning (T&C) of new arrivals and safely manage the decommissioning/condemnation of obsolete assets.
• Schedule, monitor, and audit Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and calibrations carried out by internal teams or third-party vendors.
• Evaluate vendor performance, manage service level agreements (SLAs), review maintenance contracts, and source technical spare parts efficiently.
