Biomedical Engineering Technician 1

Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| 100% Onsite| Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** The Biomedical Engineering Technician 1 assembles, maintains, and repairs medical equipment. You will report to the Manager.
**Primary Tasks:**
1. Perform routine maintenance checks on biomedical equipment through testing, calibrating, troubleshooting by taking corrective measures to ensure system functions.
2. Install new incoming biomedical equipment by adjusting devices in reference to medical specifications and train staff members to operate and care for the equipment with physical demonstrations and educational presentations.
3. Order components for failed medical devices, verify deliveries on new, leased, and loaned medical devices and oversee third-party repairs.
4. Repair faulty machinery by priority and schedule equipment inspections.
