Biomaterials Laboratory Technician

We are seeking

to appoint an outstanding and highly motivatedBiomaterials Laboratory Technician to join Professor Dame Molly Stevens’s laboratory at the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, University of Oxford. This is a varied and rewarding role that will be central to the effective operation of a world-leading interdisciplinary research laboratory. The postholder will support the day-to-day management of laboratory facilities, equipment, consumables, and Health & Safety processes, while also providing administrative support to help ensure the smooth running of the research group. The role will have a particular focus on supporting the biomaterials and biofabrication activities of the laboratory. Full training will be provided; however, experience of working in a laboratory environment and familiarity with biomaterials, biological and/or chemical techniques, and relevant Health & Safety procedures would be advantageous.
