Biologist

We have an opening for a Jr. Biologist or Ecologist on our Ecological Services Team in Ontario. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of monitoring and assessment programs in support of linear development related to the Hamilton LRT project. Monitoring activities may include targeted Species at Risk (SAR) bird surveys, Pileated Woodpecker nest cavity searches, SAR bat habitat assessments, Butternut health assessments or seedling searches, tree inventories, invasive species identification, and Ecological Land Classification (ELC). In addition, the successful candidate will support and be involved in data summary, data analysis, and report preparation. The position will require travel to Hamilton, Ontario, for periods as long as one week with expenses paid.
