BIM Design Engineer

The BIM Design Engineer is responsible for developing coordinated engineering designs and BIM models to support data centre, MEP, and infrastructure projects. This role bridges technical engineering input with digital modelling, ensuring accurate system layouts, sizing, and coordination across all disciplines to support project delivery from design through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing systems in accordance with project requirements and specifications.

Perform basic engineering calculations, system sizing, and layout planning (e.g. piping, cable routing, equipment clearances).

Support design development for systems such as liquid cooling, chilled water, power distribution, UPS, and auxiliary systems.

Assist in reviewing design intent, technical drawings, and equipment data sheets.
