Billing accountant and payroll coordinator

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Accountant and Payroll Coordinator to support payroll and billing operations for a growing organization in Oakland, California. This position is well suited for someone who can manage end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role also contributes to billing-related activities and helps ensure employees and internal stakeholders receive dependable financial and payroll support.

Responsibilities:
• Administer complete payroll cycles for a workforce of roughly 101 to 500 employees, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Oversee payroll activity across multiple states, applying applicable wage, tax, and compliance requirements in each jurisdiction.
