You will collect, label, process, and store specimens according to established procedures, helping ensure accurate laboratory results and supporting a strong standard of patient care.
Responsibilities

+ Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles, ensuring minimal discomfort and a positive experience for patients.

+ Collect and store blood and other specimens, such as urine or fecal samples, in accordance with established procedures and protocols.

+ Explain venipuncture and other specimen collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients before and during collection.

+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and verify that all information is accurate and complete.<...
