Bilingual Human Resources Specialist

+ Assist with recruiting, selecting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees; prepare necessary documents for personnel files.
+ Advise managers on the interpretation and application of company policies, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), and local employment laws, including matters related to but not limited to labour relations, employee relations and health & safety.
+ Place employees on LOA’s related protected leaves and workplace accidents.
+ Handle administrative follow-up for CNESST/WSIB files.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law, legislative changes, or any event/topic impacting the company and occupational health and safety.
+ Advise District Managers on interpreting and administering the Quebec collective agreement and the Ontario collective agreement when required.
