Job Description
Location : 24 Colonnade Road, Ottawa ON (free parking on-site) Schedule : Daytime, Monday to Friday Starting Salary : $76,000/year
Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Manager, Employee and Labour Relations, the Advisor provides operational advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee and labour relations matters. This role ensures consistent and compliant application of policies, collective agreements, and employment legislation while supporting investigations, grievances, accommodations, and other case management processes.
Some of your responsibilities include…
Provide advice to managers and employees on HR policies, collective agreements, and employment legislation
Support performance management by helping managers implement improvement plans and consistent corrective actions
Guide managers and employees on sensitive cases, such as workplace harassment, medical accommodations, and substance abuse case management
