Benefits Specialist – OverviewThe Benefits Specialist will provide administrative support for benefit plans and assist employees with questions and issues related to their benefits. This position reports to the Benefits Manager.
Responsibilities- Coordinates benefit invoices.
- Prepares and maintains benefits education and communication materials.
- Conducts employee education meetings.
- Conducts new employee orientations (Benefits portion).F
- Coordinates and facilitates financial well‑being activities such as retirement workshops and educational webinars.
- Prepares life insurance and disability claims.
- Participates in annual open‑enrollment projects from start to finish.
- Assists with new HCM projects (open enrollment, new benefits, etc.) and issue resolution.
