Bench Fitter (Mechanical Seal Repair Technician)

Job Purpose To acquire a comprehensive knowledge of mechanical seals and the refurbishment process Job Dimensions To encompass direct handling of products received for refurbishment including: Strip down, measuring, assessing, inspecting, building, machining and testing. Principal Accountabilities To operate in accordance with Company Standards and apply sound engineering principles to ensure repeatable product and service quality. A hands-on role, the position will require the direct handling of products received for refurbishment (stripping, measuring, assessing, reporting, building and testing). To produce written Condition Reports for both AESSEAL and non-AESSEAL products. These must be completed to a high standard and communicated in a timely manner.
