Location: Erie 1 BOCES Special Education Northtowns Academy Tonawanda, NY
Annual Salary $69,342* + 1,500 w/Masters Stipend $70,842 *Salary subject to increase upon settlement of CBA PLUS Generous Benefits Package Employment - Erie 1 BOCES (https://www.e1b.org/en/about-us/employment.aspx#Great-Benefits)
Hours: 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Job Description: The Behavior Specialist provides direct behavioral services to students enrolled in BOCES programs. The behavior specialist supports classroom teams in crisis management, assessment of student behavior and planning for proactive behavioral interventions and skill development. Duties of this job require a knowledge of child development, developmental disabilities, behavioral analysis, behavioral intervention techniques and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
