Position Summary
: 

Reporting to the Social Services Director, the incumbent provides hair care services to the residents of the Kane Community Living Centers to properly groom, enhance the appearance, and maintain the dignity of each resident, providing service in accordance with Federal, state, and local standards and regulations governing the facility. This position is located at the McKeesport location. 


 Overview: 
 Duties: 

Schedules hair appointments for residents.
Checks hair and scalp and reports any changes in hair or scalp conditions to nursing units.
Shampoos and styles hair by setting, blow-drying, cutting, trimming, and tapering; performs beauty services such as applying solutions that straighten hair or retain curls or waves in hair; provides color rinses and permanent hair coloring.
Orders supplies and maintains inventory of products in the beauty shop.
