Responsibilities
- Hair services: Washing, cutting, styling, coloring, and applying hair products
- Skincare: Performing facials, peels, body scrubs, and other skin treatments
- Makeup: Applying makeup for special occasions and offering makeup consultations
- Nail care: Performing manicures and pedicures
- Hair removal: Removing unwanted hair using waxing, threading, electrolysis, or other methods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid cosmetology license
- Training from a state-approved cosmetology school
- Knowledge of beauty products and trends
- Customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
