Barista

The Second Address is a new cafe and restaurant in Capitol Hill.  We focus on familiar foods made fresh, sourced locally, and served with care.  We are seeking experienced baristas for our expanding coffee program which includes unique specialty drinks and an expansive tea menu.  
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and serving a variety espresso drinks. specialty coffees, and teas/tisanes
Delivering exceptional, friendly service to guests, including explaining the food and drink 
Maintaining and cleaning the coffee bar, machinery, and the cafe service areas
Promoting menu and upsells based on recommendations to the customer
Cooperation and Collaboration:  We all work together with respect.  We each do what needs to be done and we take pride in our work.
 
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred, but we will provide training.
Willingness to learn and be open to new ideas
