• They must be fully familiar with the operation of the outlet, correct procedures and duties subordinates.
• Can take orders and make sure that orders are being served by staff without delays.
• Handle minor complaints and reports them to the Manager or their assistant for proper action.
• Checks staff assignments prior to and during service.
• Have a knowledge of all relevant product service.
• Have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
• They are responsive to constructive criticism by their Superiors.
• Ensures smooth co-operation between the outlet and other inter departmental areas.
• Check cleanliness of their outlet both front-of-house and back-of-house.
