Banksman

Overview

Banksman – Permanent role in Belfast. Salary is £13.71 per hour. Working hours Monday to Thursday 7:30am‑4:30pm, Friday 7:30am‑1:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage vehicle movements safely and efficiently
• Guide drivers using hand signals, radios, and verbal communication
• Minimise reversing and ensure safe manoeuvring at all times
• Identify and manage hazards, including blind spots
• Enforce safety measures and assess whether operations are safe to proceed
• Keep traffic flowing smoothly and pedestrian areas clear
• Monitor and maintain safety equipment such as barriers, cones, and signage

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Experience in logistics or warehousing
• Access NI check

Desirable Criteria

• Previous Banksman experience
• Banksman certification
