Job Description
Responsibilities: Actively participates, trains and mentors bakery department crew members to enthusiastically demonstrate, educate and sell fresh in-store scratch bakery products. Prepares in-store scratch bakery products for sale by mixing, weighing, scaling, kneading, proofing, donut frying and baking/finishing products following established department and company policies and procedures. Additionally, may be involved in production cake decorating requiring icing and decorating special occasion cakes and other specialty desserts on an as needed basis. Assists with leadership to bakery department crew members including: planning and assigning work, coaching sessions and administering discipline when needed, providing training, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
