Backend Platform Engineer (Boston or NYC)

We’re hiring an exceptional Backend Platform Engineer to join our team.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for internal and external use.
• Work closely with product & engineering to help abstract infrastructure complexity (self‑service tooling, developer workflows, etc).
• Support our engineering team on ongoing infra improvements such as end‑to‑end testing and release process, security ops efficiency, etc.
• Collaborate on deployment, monitoring, and reliability of backend systems and infrastructure.

What we look for

• 3+ years building backend systems (startup experience a big plus).
• Strong in a backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Node) and comfortable with infrastructure concerns (cloud, containers, IaC).
• Experience designing APIs/services for scale and reliability.
