Backend Engineer – Billing Platform

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join the team responsible for Wix’s Billing Platform, a core system serving millions of active subscription users at massive scale. Our mission is to build the next-generation billing system at Wix- a flexible and scalable platform that supports multiple verticals, diverse business models, and modern payment and subscription flows.  

In your day-to-day, you will:  

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems that support millions of subscriptions and high-traffic payment flows  
• Take part in shaping the new Wix Billing architecture, supporting multiple verticals and flexible payment models  
• Lead and contribute to architectural and design decisions in a complex distributed microservices environment  
• Improve existing systems by addressing scalability, performance, reliability, and maintainability challenges
