Overview

Description Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software agents that run on customer endpoints (Windows, Linux, macOS). This role is critical for enabling data collection, remote execution, and secure communication between the endpoints (Actors) and our cloud platform (Backend). The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Python for application logic, familiarity with lower-level languages like C/C++, and a nice to have command of networking protocols and operating system internals.

Responsibilities

• Agent Development & Systems Programming
  • Design, develop, and test high-performance, low-footprint software agents/actors using Python.
  • Ensure the agent software is stable, reliable, and secure across multiple operating systems, specifically Windows and Linux environments.
  • Develop robust mechanisms for persistence, self-healing, and minimal resource utilization on the endpoint.
