Backend Application Engineer

Job Description
This role will own and support backend application services, integrations, and core business logic for a vendor developed application, acting as the backend technical owner on the client side. The resource will partner closely with the external vendor to troubleshoot and enhance backend services running in AWS, ensuring reliable functionality across development, test, and production environments. Responsibilities include supporting backend business logic, data processing, and service orchestration; diagnosing and resolving API integration issues with internal systems; validating configuration and deployment readiness; and assisting with bug fixes, performance tuning, and release support.
