Job Description
We are currently seeking a AZ Operator for our Emergency Response(ER) division in Ottawa . This position plays a critical role in operating and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment in support of environmental cleanup and emergency spill response activities.
This is a unionized position and will be filled in accordance with the provisions of the current Collective Agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Valid AZ License o Operate Proficiently at Equipment, including but not Limited to: Pneumatic & Shell Tankers, Wet / Dry Vac, Hydro Vac, Liquid (wet) vac, Roll-off Truck and/or Trailers Box Trailers & Straight Truck (including use of pallet jackets, dolly’s, carts, etc.) o Sewer Cleaning Equipment i.e. combination / sewer flushing units. o Confined Space Watch, Rescue & Entrance (certified training required). o Certified Emergency Response Hazmat Technician (GFL course) o Capable to drive manual transmission truck(s)
