Avionics-Project Engineer

About the Role

As a key member of the Engineering team, the Project Engineer – Avionics Systems will report to the Director of Engineering and will be responsible for system design, development, and certification. The role will manage projects from conceptualization to physical development, collaborate with customers and stakeholders to meet project requirements, and mentor and supervise system engineers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulatory guidance to develop engineering data that supports minor or major repairs and modifications for customer aircraft.
• Use sound engineering principles to prepare engineering designs and reports focused on avionics system modifications.
• Support the development of conceptual designs, feasibility studies, estimates, and aircraft modifications to meet the requirements of proposed modification projects.
