AV Systems Design Engineer

Summary:The AV Systems Design Engineer shall design and implement solutions for corporate, educational, digital signage/IPTV, sports, and broadcast clients. The Engineer will work closely with the sales staff to provide both general and specific recommendations on equipment, technologies and implementation. Upon sale, the AV Systems Design Engineer shall coordinate system drawings, release of equipment, transfer knowledge to the installation and field engineering teams, as well as assist as necessary for a successful deployment.Responsibilities:Consult with the Sales team to establish customer needs and present potential solutionsDetermine client expectations for system functionality through effective pre-bid process executionWith the sales department, recommend general and specific solutions to clientsDesign complete systems for quoting including equipment, parts, consumables, and laborWrite scopes of work to convey system expectationsRespond to bid requestsWork with CAD departmen...
