Job Description

The Autonomous Robotics Engineer will play a key role in defining, deploying, and scaling next-generation automation across Ford’s global manufacturing network. This role supports the launch of advanced Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) and AGV technologies that modernize in-plant logistics, increase safety, improve quality, and enable Best-in-World manufacturing performance.
You will work hands-on with robotics systems, controls, IT architecture, and cross-functional launch teams to deliver reliable, repeatable automation that transforms how material moves in our . plants.

Minimum Requirements
Strong self-starter with
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience deploying automation or robotics systems in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of controls systems, industrial networking, and IT/OT interfaces related to robotics.
