automotive service technician

Job Details

• Salary: 42.50 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time

Work must be completed at a physical location. No option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
• Review work orders
• Road test motor vehicles
• Test automotive systems and components
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Advise customers on the work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
