Automotive Mechanic Lead

Overview

This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP. Under the supervision of the Automotive Mechanic Supervisor, performs the full range of field-level overhaul work on one or more types of vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, gasoline, or multi-fuel. Implements regulatory safety requirements and ensures that subordinates wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions.

• Performs the full range of repair and modification work on heavy/light equipment and vehicles powered by internal combustion engines
• Examines vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
