Description

PSI Engineering is seeking an Automation Technician to support sales and engineering activities related to material handling and automation systems. The successful candidate will assist with system layouts, technical designs, simulations, proposals, and project support activities in collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

Employment Duties

• Prepare and interpret engineering drawings and layouts for conveyor and material handling systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Assist in system design, including basic simulations and concept development
• Support cost estimates, proposals, and material requirements
• Coordinate with engineering teams and suppliers for specifications and pricing
• Assist with equipment installation, inspection, and setup
• Program and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems
