Automation Technician

• High school diploma or GED and six months to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  
• Vocational-technical training or equivalent is desired
  
• Must be able to read and understand basic electrical/electronic schematics and diagrams
  
• Must be able to read and understand basic mechanical blueprints
  
• Ability to apply technical skills in an effective manner
  
• Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to use verbal and written communication
  
• Ability to work under reduced supervision and complete assignments meeting project-specific requirements
  
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and use material handling equipment
  
• May be required to travel to customer facilities for installation and start-up support
  
• Team-oriented with ability to train co-workers and foster positive working environment
