Automation Engineer

Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00

Please note this role is a continental rotating shift (12-hour shifts rotating between days and nights).

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup and Changeover

• Set up machines per set-up parameters or program parameters and install requisite tooling according to production schedules.
• Perform changeovers, adjustments, and installations for each production run.
• Ensure proper alignment of tooling to the machine and that they are securely mounted to avoid operational and safety hazards.

Machine Operation Support

• Assist machine operators in adjusting machine settings to meet product specifications.
• Test new programs and support trial runs to ensure that the machine or program function properly and parts meet quality standards.
• Manage tooling wear and tear, elevate, and request necessary repairs as required.
