Automation Lab Supervisor

Job Description
A client is seeking an Automation Lab Supervisor for a contract position based out of Plano, TX. This supervisor will oversee a team of 6 individuals ranging from lab technicians, designers to mechanical engineers and will play a crucial role to ensure projects are being accomplished and on schedule. Some of the daily responsibilities include coordinating all lab (in-house) efforts around prototyping, manufacturing, and field trials of automated kitchen equipment. They will also oversee the general maintenance of the lab including reconfiguration and maintenance of equipment, execution of prototyping/manufacturing/testing activities, and 5s/lean process implementations. Strong communication, project management, leadership and technical skills are required to be successful in this position.
