Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

+ Design operating logic for PLCs, robots, and HMIs.

+ Simulate, test, and optimize equipment performance.

+ Integrate third-party equipment with our systems.

+ Configure and troubleshoot Industrial Ethernet, IP addressing, and communication protocols.

+ Interconnect machines and systems for reliable data exchange.

+ Connect equipment to ERP, MES/MIS, and database systems.

+ Implement data transfer, traceability, and data logging solutions.

+ Apply software architecture principles to industrial integrations.

+ Read and understand ladder logic; collaborate with automation/PLC teams.

+ Participate in equipment commissioning and deploy solutions across North America.

+ Provide technical support to internal teams and customers.
